TEAM HARDEN AZ COMBINE EVENT RECAP

17u Impact Players:
2021 6’1 PG Justus Jackson
In a move that sent shockwaves through the Arizona high school basketball scene, 2021 6’1 PG Justus Jackson decided to make a change for his final AAU season and joined Team Harden AZ. Justus is a dynamic point guard who has an excellent handle, great court vision and reaffirmed his hold as an elite west coast point guard in the 2021 class. We project him as an immediate starter and will not be surprised with the almost certain uptick in his recruitment. Justus holds multiple offers and will now share a loaded Team Harden AZ backcourt.

2020 PG/SG 6’0 Trent Hudgens
Team Harden AZ returns Trent Hudgens who exploded on the Arizona basketball scene this year by transferring from Moon Valley HS to Ironwood HS. This move not only put Trent on a bigger platform in the state, it also was the key piece that led Ironwood to an 18-0 record upon his arrival, as well as a State Championship. Trent is a dynamic floor general who can score on all three levels. He can control the pace and was simply dominant for all of his junior campaign. A Hudgens/Jackson backcourt will be something to see this spring.

2020 SG 6’4 Isiah Floyd
The rich get richer for Team Harden AZ as 2020 Compass prep guard Isiah Floyd agrees to run one more season with Team Harden AS. Isiah is an explosive athlete with a very high motor on both ends. His improved jumper has vaulted him into a top west coast recruit in the class of 2020. He’s a lock down defender, runs the floor and finishes well above the rim and now with a consistent three (which he displayed all season for Compass Prep) he now is ready to take his place as one of the most sought after recruits in 2020

2021 C 6’10 Duke Brennan
Duke had one of the most incredible rises in recent years in Arizona. A rotational JV player just a year ago, Duke has taken Arizona by storm. 1st team All-State, Conference POY and all 6A Breakout POY, Duke is now the premier big man in Arizona basketball and seeks to establish himself as a top tier West Coast big. Duke is an old school back to the basket big man who absolutely terrorized the paint. He was unstoppable at the combine and we clearly understand why his recruitment took off the way it did and expect his AAU season to be nothing short of a West Coast coming out party. He’s a mid to high major big man who will indeed have the last laugh when it’s all said and done.

Combine Surprises:

2021 6’6 Wing Chris Page
We can’t think of a better place to start than 6’6 Wing from Gardena High School, Chris Page. There were rumors that Team Harden AZ had acquired a high flying California kid. The rumors are true. Chris Page is an explosive leader, the wiry framed wing can simply jump out of the gym. He combines that eye popping athleticism with a very nice deep ball and we feel that makes him the most intriguing addition Team Harden AZ has. With so much depth in the backcourt and a dominant big man down low, we see the table as fully set for Chris Page to have a huge AAU season.
2021 6’6 Wing Clarence Martin
Clarence returns to Team Harden AZ from Mater Dei high school in San Diego. Clarence spent his last AAU season on the 16u squad where he emerged as a sharp shooting wing with a ton of upside. The Clarence Martin who showed up at the combine has been eye raising. Improvement in both his body and his athleticism were immediately noticeable. His ability to stretch the floor with his shooting, combined with his new body and ability to play at the rim has now moved him into a viable prospect at the Division 1 level as a excellent shooting wing. Very interested in how his spring unfolds.
